Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to attorneys and assist in the management of legal cases. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the law and strong administrative skills.
Duties:
- Preparation of Applications for filing related to management of trademark portfolios.
- Providing support to Attorneys on trademark matters.
- Liaising with clients on ongoing projects.
- Checking status for pending applications.
- Receipt and initial review of incoming Office Actions.
- Assist with maintaining the client dockets for filing deadlines, including preparing reminders to attorneys and clients as needed.
- Prepare documents, including Declarations, Powers of Attorney, and other formal documents.
- Receipt review and respond to incoming communication from clients and agents.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Strong project management skills to ensure timely completion of assignments
- Familiarity with filing systems and legal document organization
- Proficiency with computer software like Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and also PDF readers and web browsing to access and obtain information.
- Knowledge of Spanish (oral and writing) is a plus.
- Note: All candidates must have completed an accredited paralegal program or have equivalent work experience.
